Snapdragon Stadium is dedicated to the highest level of sustainability efforts.
Some current programs and policies include:
- LEED Gold certified
- Landfill, Recycling, and Composting bins throughout all public spaces
- Partnership with Aramark and Urban Corps, which is a local group that facilitates a full bowl recyclable pick prior to the full bowl trash pickup
- PV parking stations with solar panels to generate electricity
- Indoor offices, back-of-house rooms, and outbuildings equipped with occupant-sensor lighting
- Multi-layer lighting controls with custom timing schedules to reduce electrical use
- Establishing best practices with cleaning products in use with Aramark – For example, we use Waxie Solution Station that allows us to mix green chemicals with water in reusable containers. This helps us avoid plastic waste of cleaning product single-use plastics.
